Dallas O’Day
Dallas O’Day is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, specializing in the defense of public and private entities, and their employees, in personal injury and employment matters. Mr. O’Day has represented a range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to public entities, to first-time individual defendants, in a wide variety of litigated matters.
Mr. O’Day has been lead counsel in multiple jury trials in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Los Angeles counties, as well as in Cook County and Kane County, Illinois. He has tried many other cases in arbitration proceedings, including worker’s compensation proceedings, in California and Illinois, and has tried a personal injury case in federal court in Cook County, Illinois.
Mr. O’Day is the handling attorney for all of his cases on a day-to-day basis and from their inception. Mr. O’Day is also an excellent negotiator, resolving many of his cases amicably with direct negotiations with opposing counsel or with the assistance of a mediator. Where necessary and appropriate, Mr. O’Day seeks dismissal of his cases with dispositive motions.
Throughout his legal career Mr. O’Day has worked to maintain the highest standards of zealous representation on behalf of his clients while at the same time maintaining civil and courteous relations with opposing counsel to avoid unnecessary dispute and litigation.
Mr. O’Day received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA in 1989. He attended the University of San Diego School of Law and received his JD in 1993. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and Illinois, as well as the Central District of California and the Northern District of Illinois.
